Homebound Outreach

The Purpose of the Outreach is to assist, with every spiritual and temporal resource available, those within the St. Joseph parish who are:

• In need of short term help due to unexpected acute illness
• Caring for family members in their homes who have long term illness
• Homebound

The Mission

• To strive to integrate into action, the "Teachings of Christ", regarding the "Sanctity of Human Life" as taught by the Magisteruim of the Roman Catholic Church.

• To provide a structure to discuss, share and appropriate the spiritual and physical resources within the Roman Catholic Church and local community, which will enable the homebound and their families to realize:

• their dignity
• the special graces within their state of life
• their place within the heart of the church
• and to live their life fully amidst their circumstances

• To equip the church with the tools and structure through which they will be able to assist those within our parish who are:

• in need of short term help due to unexpected acute illness
• complications with pregnancy
• caring for family members in their homes who have long term illness
• homebound, elderly, frail
• and/or ill and alone
