Spelling - Study the word sort in your Spelling Notebook that you did in class today. 1/7/08

Reading - Read the new take home book, Mitch and Fitch.

Science/Writing - 1) Follow the directions on the non-fiction writing sheet. Be sure to only write about one of the three animals.

2) Complete the Animal Book Report sheet started in class today.

Religion - Unit 2 Review is beginning today. Books will come home on Wednesday. The Unit 2 Review Sheet sent home today should be used to start your review

Spelling - Write 1-2 sentences, using five words. Be sure to underline the spelling word in the sentence.

Math - Math workbook page 44

Science –A sample animal project on “Penguins” is being sent home today for your reference. It can guide you when writing your report.

Reading - Dictate sentences for your new word cards. Be sure to practice reading the words and sentences at least two times, and be sure to underline the vocabulary word in the sentence.

Spelling - Sort the words into alphabetical order. After a parent checks for correctness, copy them into your notebook.

Religion - Review for the Unit 2 Test on Friday. Use the Study Guide sent home on Monday along with your Religion Book.

Reading - Practice reading the words and sentences on your ring.

Spelling - Study for the test tomorrow. Do a practice test on the paper started in class. Parents - include the dictation sentence on the practice test. Refer to the sheet sent home that explains dictation sentences

Religion - 1. Study for the Unit 2 Test tomorrow; use the Study Guide and your book.
