October 18, at practice:

• JV and Varsity practiced marching in lines while saying chants to get ready for the parade on Saturday, October 22^nd
• JV and Varsity both received their uniform items for the season
• Varsity received their uniforms, JV will receive theirs on Saturday before the parade

October 4, at practice:

• JV reviewed cheers they’ve learned and practiced using poms
• Varsity began making stunt groups and practiced working together
• Everyone learned the words and motions to the cheer we’ll be doing at the Herndon Homecoming Parade in front of Mrs. Cargill’s house…please practice it at home!

Parents – if you haven’t turned in the necessary paperwork and mandatory ($55) activity fee to me, please turn them in ASAP! Also, if you have not turned in a check for the items that you ordered, please do that as soon as you can as well. Thank you!

Parents, please find the necessary documents below and fill one of each out (for each of your children) to bring to me on the first day of practice. Please note that the Code of Conduct and NVJCYO Participant Agreement require the athlete’s signature.	Here is the cheerleading item order form. It is due by Friday, September 16^th. A representative from the company is coming on the 20^th to practice to fit all of the girls for the necessary items. Thanks!
