Beethoven gave us God’s Fire

God gave us Music that we might pray without words.

Students will visit the Music Room once a week – Kindergarten twice a week for 30 min each. During their time in music, students will work on increasing their knowledge of music vocabulary, enhancing their singing skills and expanding an age-appropriate song base. Music will be a time for students to expand their creative side and have some fun during their school week. While having fun, the students will also be learning new musical skills they can use for years to come!

WORD OF THE MONTH

K-2^nd: Beat– an unchanging continuous pulse/sound. Even and steady.

3^rd-5^th: Rhythm – combinations of longer and shorter sounds and silences.

6^th-8^th: Chords – Groups of three or more pitches that sound at the same time.
