What is the Store
Certificates Program?
This is a joint
fundraising project of St. Joseph Church and St. Joseph School P.T.O.,
with proceeds currently designated for the Teacher Compensation Fund.
We purchase gift certificates at a discount (which averages 5%, but
can be as much as 22%!) from participating merchants, and sell them
at face value. They then are used just like a regular gift certificate.
Why should you
purchase Store Certificates?
THIS fund-raising
program COSTS YOU NOTHING! Just buy certificates at face value for the
places you normally shop, use them like money or give them as gifts,
and your church makes a profit on every one!
How many different
kinds of Store Certificates are there?
There are certificates
available for over 100 different merchants: Grocery stores, restaurants,
specialty, retail, and drug stores, on-line merchants, hotels, airlines,
and much more!
When and Where
can I get these Store Certificates?
There are volunteers in the vestibule after every weekend mass with
a selection of our most popular certificates for sale, they are sold
in afternoon carpool on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, OR you now
have the option of pre-ordering your certificates. Forms are available
at the Certificates table, in the red folder in the literature rack,
or by calling Lisa. You can also down-load the list of available certificates
from our web site. You may indicate the certificates you wish to order,
attach payment (payable to P.T.O. Store Certificates), and drop off
or mail. Please be sure to provide name, address, and daytime phone
number. You will be called when your order is ready. Orders received
before Wednesday will usually be available within one week.

Store Certificates Update: Christmas is just around the corner! We
have many retailers like Starbuck’s, Great Harvest Bread, Panera,
Border’s or Barnes & Noble perfect for teacher or coach
gifts. Many retailers are perfect for the hard-to-buy-for friends & family
on your list; Dick’s Sporting Goods, Sports Authority, Macy’s,
or you may want to consider a restaurant certificate for a dinner
and movie. We carry Regal Cinema certificates in the box! Burger
King & Baskins Robbins certificates make great stocking stuffers!

Purchase Lowes and Speedway giftcards for donation to the St. Jude's
Mission in Appalachia and give twice- first to the Mission and second
through Program profits which are donated to the SJS Teacher Fund!
