Faith Quotes

"Let the children come to me, do not stop them, because the kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these."

--- Matt. 19:14

"We cultivate a very small field for Christ, but we love it, knowing that God does not require great achievements but a heart that holds back nothing for self."

--- St. Rose Philippine Duchesne

"Those who live their faith possess a serene faith. What you long for will be given you; what you love will be yours forever. Since it is by giving alms that everything is pure for you, you will also receive that blessing which is promised next by the Lord: the Godhead that no man has been able to see. In the inexpressible joy of this eternal vision, human nature will possess what eye has not seen or ear heard, what man's heart has never conceived."

--- Pope St. Leo the Great

"Love consumes us only in the measure of our self-surrender."

--- St. Therese of Lisieux

High School Faith Community

Overview:

The High School Youth Community at St. Joseph's Church comprises 9th-12th grade students and has many components. Sunday night events take place at the Church (Parish Hall C) from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. These seek to nourish the youth's spiritual, physiological, artistic, and theological development while creating a safe, charitable, and enjoyable atmosphere. Dinner is always provided on Sunday evenings for the youth.

Catholic Life Communitiy (CLC) takes place every Wednesday nights from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. These small groups have as their priority sharing, accountability, and reflection amongst the youth.

Finally, there are various liturgical, service, and social opportunities present throughout the year. These events bring the youth into direct contact with the parish and local community for the betterment of God's kingdom.

Please note: All scheduled events below are subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances or weather conditions.
